About Dr. Rozelle

I am a Naturopathic Physician and Licensed Acupuncturist and I specialize in treating pediatrics, women's health, and mental/neurological health conditions.  Although I enjoy treating patients of all ages, my primary passion has always been in pediatric medicine.  I enjoy treating a variety of different pediatric conditions, but am especially passionate about treating mental, neurological, and developmental disorders in children.  It breaks my heart to see any child suffer, and it is my goal in life to reduce that suffering and help each child achieve resilience and optimal health.

I received my Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine in 2012 from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, Arizona.  I then had the honor of being selected for a one-year family medicine residency at the Southwest Naturopathic Medical Center.  I am currently licensed in Massachusetts and Vermont, but also provide telemedicine consultation services for patients all over the country. I also received a Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.

I previously worked as an adjunct clinical faculty member at Bastyr University in San Diego where I supervised pediatric focused clinical rotations. I have also contributed to the naturopathic medical field by serving as a Board Member for the California Naturopathic Doctors Association and Committee Chair for the Professional Development Committee.  I have done extensive training in homeopathy, pediatric special needs, PANS/PANDAS, autism, mold toxicity, and lyme disease.  I have presented at conferences on the topics of PANS/PANDAS and pediatric mental health.

I am the author of “The Essential Guide to Adaptogens.”  This book was written with the intention to help educate the public on natural remedies to treat stress

My Story

Growing up, I always knew I wanted to become a doctor.   The passion to help people and try to make a difference in the world was always inherent to me.  This passion stems from my role models.  My father is a psychologist who specializes in neurofeedback and my mother was a teacher for special needs children. Growing up, I remember being fascinated when my dad told me stories about how our brains could heal themselves, and being in awe of my mom’s compassion for others.  I watched my parents change people’s lives, help others heal, and I knew I wanted to follow in their footsteps.  I followed my passion and went to school to become a doctor.

However, when I saw and experienced what the conventional allopathic model of patient care was, it just didn’t feel right to me.  I believed that there had to be more that we could do for people.  That was when I discovered naturopathic medicine.  I knew right away that becoming a naturopathic doctor was what I was meant to do.  I believed that naturopathic medicine must have the answers to how we could improve our current health care system and options for patients.  However, at the time I didn’t know just how powerful naturopathic medicine could be.  I have been practicing as a naturopathic doctor for the past 13 years, and I am still amazed by the healing that I see in my patients, and that I have experienced myself.
